Letter from the Chair

I founded ForMed (Formedicine) with a simple yet powerful vision: to bridge the gap between aspiration and opportunity in the field of healthcare. Throughout my journey, I have met countless students and professionals who share a deep passion for medicine for helping others, advancing science, and improving the human condition. However, many of them, even despite their will, could not discover clarity and orientation when achieving their aims. The journey to a satisfying medical profession is not always evident, and, very frequently, people are left to figure it out on their own.

ForMed was developed so as to alter that. My intention was to create a platform that would support individuals to achieve their dream career in healthcare one that will capture their strengths, values, and interests. Through creative evaluation technology and one-on-one advice, ForMed assists people in determining the points of intersection of passion and purpose. It offers the knowledge, the assurance and the guidance that is required in order to make the next step forward and get into a good career in medicine.

The idea behind this initiative was that all individuals could find their roles in healthcare either as clinicians, researchers, community health educators, biomedical engineering, healthcare administration, and so on. Any contribution however dissimilar is essential to the overall progress of medical science and the improvement of human life. With ForMed, I would bring some light to these numerous avenues and make people understand the entire range of opportunities that the medical world can be able to provide.

Simply put, ForMed operates on a culture of excellence, empathy and innovation. Our goal is to offer the best services in offering good and informative career advice without being mean and ignorant of the struggles that people going through their journey have to endure. Our platform is constantly advanced to be on the leading edge in terms of research and technology, so that we can provide all users with personalized, caring service. Still, above all, we judge our own success in terms not of numbers or measures, but of the actual contribution we make to the lives of our users of ForMed - the confidence we enable to develop, the choices we enable to make more comprehensible, the futures we enable to shape.
